Since the year 2000 when Irene first registered as a Sales Representative with the Real Estate Council of Ontario, and then with CREA and OREA, her ambition was to serve and volunteer within the scope of her career. Since then, she has obtained designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Accredited Senior Agent (ASA), and in 2004 her title changed from Sales Representative to Broker. Then, in 2006, her ambitions to own and operate a real estate brokerage became a reality, when Bay Real Estate Inc. was launched and she then became the Broker of Record.
In 2005, Irene began volunteering for her local real estate board as a director, and in 2009 was nominated to President of the Board. Throughout her years as a local volunteer she enhanced her educational requirements to enable herself to begin teaching pre-registration courses for the OREA College and is now recognized as an instructor facilitating courses in Course 1, 2, 3, and 3 Advanced. Throughout this ongoing time frame, Irene volunteered on OREA Task Forces, sat on a by-law committee at her local board, and has been Education Chair 5 times over the 6 years of her volunteer service. Has been a Director at her local Chamber of Commerce since 2007 and currently occupies the position of 2nd Vice President. She has also volunteered within her local community and continually donates time and money to area services and food banks.
In conclusion, as an instructor with the Ontario Real Estate College, Irene values educations as the primary experience gained in life and she believes in giving back to her community and the people who come into her life by contributing to their success and growth.
